1. Acceptance

By downloading, accessing, or using the Dharmam mobile application ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the App. The App is operated by Dharmam, India ("we", "us", "our"). Contact: dharmam.app@gmail.com.

2. The Service

Dharmam is a devotional and spiritual-practice application offering guided prayer, meditation (dhyana), japa, scripture reading, chants, and a sacred calendar. The content is provided for personal devotional and educational purposes only. Scriptural texts, translations, and dates (panchang/tithi) are presented in good faith but may contain approximations and are not authoritative religious rulings.

3. Subscription, Pricing & Auto-Renewal

Dharmam is a subscription-based application. Access to the App requires an active Dharmam Pro subscription. A free trial may be offered to new subscribers.

Plan: Dharmam Pro — ₹99 per year, billed annually.
Free trial: 15 days. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, the subscription automatically converts to a paid subscription and you will be charged.
Auto-renewal: Your subscription renews automatically at the then-current price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Billing: All purchases are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play, not by us. Charges appear on, and renewals are managed through, your Apple ID or Google account.
Managing/Cancelling:Manage or cancel anytime in your device's Apple ID Subscriptions / Google Play Subscriptions settings. Cancelling stops future renewals; you retain access until the end of the paid period.
Refunds: Refunds are handled solely by Apple or Google under their respective policies. We cannot issue refunds directly.

4. Accounts

You must create an account (email, Apple, or Google sign-in) to use the App. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Account → Delete account, which permanently removes your profile and associated data.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: copy, redistribute, resell, or publicly perform the App's content; reverse-engineer or tamper with the App; circumvent the subscription or any access controls; or use the App unlawfully.

6. Intellectual Property

The App, its design, original translations, audio recordings, and software are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by law. Public-domain source texts remain in the public domain; our compilation, translations, and presentation do not. You receive a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App while your subscription is active.

7. Third-Party Services

The App relies on third-party providers including Apple, Google, Supabase, and RevenueCat for authentication, storage, and payment processing. Your use of those services is also governed by their terms and privacy policies.

8. Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" and "as available." It is not a substitute for medical, psychological, or professional advice. Meditation and breathing exercises are undertaken at your own discretion and risk. We do not warrant that content is error-free or that the service will be uninterrupted.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for your subscription in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Changes to the Service or Terms

We may modify the App, its features, pricing (for future renewals, with notice as required by the stores), or these Terms. Material changes will be posted here with an updated date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time and cancel your subscription as described above.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the courts of India.
